Last week, we went on our annual family vacation to the beach in North Carolina. On the way, we stopped in Raleigh.
Elle needed to make a stop at the state capital building. This is the 3rd state capital building she has been to.

We got her started off right. We made our traditional first stop at our favorite shrimp shack. Elle had her first whole shrimp. She also learned how to eat corn on the cob this week but I didn't get any pictures of that fun event!
After a slow start at the ocean, she really seemed to enjoy herself.

Many of my co-workers have asked if Elle is ever cranky/unhappy. Proof that yes, even Elle is a grump some days! She was really not impressed on our drive to dinner one night!

This year, our group had 2 houses and a condo. Over the course of the week, we had 18 adults and 8 kids with us at the beach. Great time was had by all!! Can't wait until next year!!
