Way back in early September, we were back in Chicago for about a week and a half. I had two meetings with a few days in between so we just stayed and enjoyed Chicago.
While we were there, Elle got to ride the L finally and a bus! It was pretty exciting.
We took the bus to Lincoln Park Zoo.
We saw lots of 'b's, according to Elle. I always have to know the context when she says that because 'b' can be anything that starts with the letter/sound b! Bears, belly buttons, berries, etc. The only thing she says the full word of is ball!
Not as tall as a polar bear yet! Shrimp!
We went to "The Farm in the City" exhibit. Needless to say, Elle was not impressed.
This was as close as they would let you get to the goats. She really had a hard time understanding that she couldn't go pet/hug them.
But, we did get to see 4 day old piglets!
We also were able to have playdates with several old friends/their kids from Ball State - lots of fun!
