We were home this weekend and didn't really have any plans. But, as it turned out, we ended up with a few fun things to do!
On Friday night, I ended up taking Elle swimming for her first time! We went with my friend Chandra and her son (a week older than Elle) at a local high school's pool. At first, Elle was not too impressed and was hanging on to me for dear life. But after about 10 minutes, she started to enjoy it. For the most part, she just wanted to watch all of the junior high age kids playing but eventually she started splashing and letting me 'swish' her around in the water. We will definitely be doing this again!
After we got home from swimming, I decided to finally put her 'big' Christmas present together. She found it first thing Saturday morning!

Oh, and it makes a great teething ring!
Chandra and TC also came over for breakfast on Saturday! Quite the date weekend for these two :) They played pretty well together and Elle only tried to climb on him once. Big mean girl!
